Antique Noritake Nippon Porcelain Footed Planter – Hand-Painted Winter Landscape – Silver Overlay Decoration – Circa 1910–1921
Beautiful antique Japanese Noritake porcelain planter featuring a charming winter landscape and elaborate silver-tone metallic decoration.
This distinctive rectangular vessel displays a picturesque snow-covered village with traditional architecture, bare winter trees, distant hills, and a winding pathway. Soft shades of blue, lavender, gray, and warm brown create an atmospheric winter scene reminiscent of early 20th-century European landscape paintings.
The exterior is beautifully framed with ornate metallic decoration featuring intricate floral patterns, scrolling foliage, and detailed ornamental accents. Four decorative feet elevate the planter, while its gently shaped corners and open rectangular top give the piece an elegant architectural appearance.
The underside bears an early Noritake Nippon RC backstamp, associated with Japanese porcelain produced during the early 20th century. The initials RC stand for Royal Crockery, a designation historically used by Noritake.
An attractive example of antique Japanese export porcelain, combining delicate landscape decoration with richly ornamented metallic detailing.
Perfect as a decorative planter, floral centerpiece, or display piece in a traditional interior or antique porcelain collection.
