Antique Hand Painted Nippon Porcelain Double Handle Vase with Grapes & Gold Moriage c. 1900
Elegant antique Japanese Nippon porcelain vase, dating to approximately 1891–1921, with a hand-painted grape and floral motif against a rich dark green ground.
The vase features clusters of purple grapes surrounded by colorful flowers and foliage, accented by extensive raised gilt decoration and beaded moriage detailing. Two applied scrolling handles flank the upper body, while the shaped rim and base are finished with additional gold accents.
The underside bears a faded Hand Painted Nippon backstamp with maple-leaf emblem, consistent with early Japanese export porcelain.
