Antique 1911–1921 Morimura Nippon Hand-Painted Porcelain Vase with Pink Roses & Gold Handles
Antique Japanese Nippon porcelain vase produced for export by Morimura Brothers, predecessor to Noritake, during the early 20th century.
The vase features a bulbous baluster form with dramatic double gilt scroll handles, a flared scalloped rim, and a richly decorated neck incorporating lavender, tan, and gold geometric panels. The body is hand painted with large pink roses, yellow-green leaves, distant mountains, and a wooded landscape, finished with fine gilt accents.
The underside bears the faded Hand Painted Nippon M-in-Wreath mark, associated with Morimura Brothers and generally dated 1911–1921.
