Vintage Pflueger Mustang Spoon – Chrome Finish – Early 1970s

This is a Pflueger Mustang Spoon, a classic metal fishing lure designed for casting or trolling. It has a polished chrome finish with an engraved scale pattern on one side, giving off a strong flash in the water to mimic a baitfish.

Stamped on the back is the marking:
“PFLUEGER MUSTANG – MADE IN U.S.A.”

The Mustang Spoon was a popular choice in the 1960s–70s for freshwater gamefish such as pike, bass, and lake trout. This one retains its original treble hook, though it shows oxidation and age-related wear.
