Pair of “Made in Occupied Japan” Hand-Painted Miniature Vases with Cobalt Blue Enamel

$38.00 USD

Matched pair of post-WWII porcelain vases, produced between 1945–1952 during Japan’s Allied occupation. Each vase features a square mouth, flared body, and twin side handles accented in gilt. The front panels are hand-painted with green foliage motifs bordered by cobalt blue glaze and raised detailing. Marked in red on the base: “Made in Occupied Japan.” These were likely part of a decorative miniature set exported to the U.S. and Europe as souvenirs.
