Elegant Made in Italy jewelry box featuring richly figured burl wood veneer with warm amber and walnut tones. The hinged lid opens to a soft taupe/brown velvet-lined interior fitted with two open jewelry compartments and central padded ring rolls.
The exterior has a polished finish that highlights the dramatic swirling burl grain, along with decorative wood edging and a brass-tone lock escutcheon. A coordinating tassel-style key adds a particularly attractive finishing detail. The underside/interior is marked “MADE IN ITALY.”
A well-made decorative box suitable for rings, bracelets, watches, keepsakes, or display. Based on the photographs, it appears to be a better-quality Italian presentation/jewelry box rather than a modern mass-market piece.
