Vintage 1986–1987 Imperial Jingdezhen Chinese Porcelain Collector Plates – Beauties of the Red Mansion – Set of 4
A beautiful collection of four vintage Imperial Jingdezhen fine porcelain collector plates from the celebrated “Beauties of the Red Mansion” series, produced in China during the 1980s.
Inspired by the classic Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber, these exquisite decorative plates feature elegantly dressed Chinese ladies in richly detailed traditional settings. Each composition showcases elaborate flowing robes, delicate floral arrangements, architectural elements, ornamental gardens, and intricate decorative borders.
The artwork is attributed to renowned Chinese porcelain artist Zhao Huimin, whose illustrations capture the grace and refinement of classical Chinese court life. Soft pastel colors, vibrant reds, blues, greens, and pinks complement the decorative gold-tone rims, creating an attractive coordinated collection.
Each plate features an elaborate reverse inscription with Chinese calligraphy, Imperial Jingdezhen's distinctive dragon emblem, production identification, and limited-edition information. The plates are dated 1986 and 1987 and were produced for the China National Arts and Crafts Import and Export Corporation.
Perfect for wall display, a decorative cabinet, or as an addition to an Asian porcelain collection, these four vintage plates offer an elegant combination of Chinese literary heritage and traditional decorative artistry.
