Johnson Silver Minnow Weedless Spoon – Pat. D-8258

This is a vintage Johnson Silver Minnow spoon lure, one of the most famous weedless spoons ever made. It features the stamped marking:

"JOHNSON SILVER MINNOW – PAT'D D-8258"

The patented design, dating back to the 1920s, includes a curved metal body for wobbling action and a built-in wire weed guard over the single hook. This allows anglers to fish through heavy weeds, lily pads, and submerged vegetation without constant snagging.
