Vintage Pflueger Pal-O-Mine Minnow – Gold Plated – Late 1940s

This is a Pflueger Pal-O-Mine Minnow, one of Pflueger’s classic wooden fishing lures. This example is finished in gold plating (now showing patina and surface wear) and features three treble hooks attached via screw eyes.

The Pal-O-Mine Minnow was introduced in the 1930s and remained in production into the 1960s. Its durable finish and versatile swimming action made it popular for bass, pike, and muskie fishing. The gold version, while less common than some painted finishes, was especially effective in sunny or clear-water conditions.
