Antique Chinese lacquered box featuring a rich dark green ground with hand-painted floral decoration and original brass lock and hasp. The exterior shows traditional Chinese decorative motifs executed in gold and polychrome over a lacquered surface, with expected age-related wear consistent with genuine antique construction.

The interior is fully lined with original woodblock-printed Chinese paper, decorated with classical scenes, figures, and vertical calligraphy columns. These printed liners were commonly used in the late Qing to early Republic period and add significant character and authenticity to the piece.
