Early- to mid-20th-century tin bank featuring A&P’s “Red Circle Coffee” branding. Yellow lithographed finish with bold black and red typography reading:
“RED CIRCLE – Freshly Roasted – Ground to Order Coffee – One of A&P’s Fine Coffees – For Savings.”
These tins were issued by The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) as promotional giveaways in the 1930s–1950s, encouraging customer loyalty and savings habits. The coin slot on top converted empty coffee tins into small banks.
