Decorative art glass table lamp featuring a tall hand-blown glass body with vivid red, green, aqua-blue, amber, and black pulled-feather/swirl decoration. The bulbous lower body tapers into a long slender neck, giving the lamp a strong Murano-inspired contemporary art glass look.
The glass body rests on a dark reddish-brown finished wood base and is topped with a large cream-colored flared fabric shade. The colorful glass makes this an excellent statement lamp for a living room, bedroom, entryway, coastal home, or eclectic interior.
The lamp appears to be in good pre-owned condition from the photograph, with no obvious cracks or major damage visible. Shade shows light age/use and should be noted separately if there are stains or discoloration not visible in the photo.
Identification:
The lamp has a Murano-style / Italian-inspired art glass appearance, but I would not advertise it as authentic Murano unless you find a maker’s label, etched signature, or original documentation. The pulled multicolor decoration was also used by a number of American and imported decorative-glass manufacturers during the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
