Authentic antique Dietz “Vesta” cold blast railroad lantern featuring its original marked glass globe and classic tubular air-feed construction.
Manufactured by the R. E. Dietz Company of New York, this durable kerosene lantern was designed for railroad, industrial, farm, and utility use during the early 20th century. The cold-blast system circulated air through side tubes to help stabilize and protect the flame in outdoor conditions.
Its untouched patina, wire guard frame, and original globe give the lantern strong primitive Americana and railroad collectible appeal.
