Decanter

This hand-painted porcelain figure depicts George Washington standing in Continental Army uniform with a red cloak draped over his shoulders, alongside a kneeling soldier tending a campfire. It was produced by American Porcelain for the McCormick Distilling Company as part of their 1976 Bicentennial “Patriots Series.” These commemorative decanters celebrated key figures of the American Revolution; they originally held 4/5 quart of McCormick Straight Bourbon Whiskey and stood roughly 13½ inches tall . The front of the base reads “GEORGE WASHINGTON,” and the underside bears the American Porcelain eagle mark and the McCormick Distilling Co. attribution.
