Vintage Chinese Porcelain Fish Bowl Planter – Hand-Painted Koi Fish & Lotus Floral Design
$79.00 USD
Beautiful vintage Chinese porcelain fish bowl planter featuring traditional Asian-inspired decorative artwork on a glossy white glazed background.
The exterior is decorated with colorful lotus flowers, aquatic plants, and delicate botanical motifs in shades of rust red, green, yellow, and blue. The interior features a large ornamental fish, resembling a koi or goldfish, surrounded by aquatic vegetation.
The planter has a wide rolled rim decorated with coordinating floral designs and a deep rounded body, making it an attractive statement piece for displaying indoor plants or as a standalone decorative accent.
The underside is marked "Made in China – Not for Food Use – May Poison Food," indicating it was manufactured as a decorative vessel rather than food-safe tableware.
Likely produced during the late 20th century. Displays some surface wear and discoloration consistent with age and use. No major damage is apparent in the photographs, although the entire surface has not been inspected.
An attractive addition to Asian-inspired interiors, chinoiserie collections, garden rooms, or traditional home decor.
