Vintage German Beer Stein – “Made in Germany,” Handcrafted with Pewter Lid

Traditional mid-20th century German beer stein, featuring a detailed relief design with alpine floral motifs (including edelweiss) and the inscription “lieben und singen” (translates to love and sing). The stein is hand-painted in rich cobalt blue, tan, and cream glazes, and topped with a cast pewter lid with ornate embossing. The underside bears a “MADE IN GERMANY” mark and a faint maker’s mark resembling a “C” or “G” underlined, possibly Gerz or Thewalt manufacture.
